Drinking Hitachino Nest from draft now and it is one of the best. I think my favorite is Cigar City Florida Cracker. Blanche de Chambly is great too. Would really like to try the Allagash!

Allagash White is just so easy drinking. Also really enjoy Stillwater Cellar Door (I think that's a wit technically), CCB Florida Cracker, and a fresh Swamp Head Cottonmouth right from the tap is a really nice refreshing brew in the hot Florida sun.

But I tend to steer toward the sweeter of the style, while the likes of St. Betnardus and other traditional ones come off dry for my tastes in the style.

White River Brewing White Creek Wit, had this for the first time while out at dinner tonight and it immediately jumped to the top of my favorite Witbiers.

Don't get Allagash around here, and Blanche de Chambly is by far my least favorite of the 7 or 8 different Unibroue beers I've had.

It seems fitting that this thread is back from the dead right about the same time Boulevard resurrected one of my favorite Smokestack beers: Two Jokers double wit brewed with cardamom, coriander, orange peel, lavender, and grains of paradise.

Like my favorite Belgian wit (St. Bernardus), Two Jokers has a nice bit of tartness to it that makes it really refreshing. Crossing my fingers that Boulevard is bringing it back semi-permanently and not just as a one off for 2014...

Alagash of course. But, I drank mr. pineapple all day at the lake and it hit the spot.

I'm pleased that two others mentioned Woody Creek White by Flying Dog--a solid beer.

While maybe not quite as good as others from a price and convienence standpoint St Archers White Ale in a can is great.

Not my favorite style, but Troublette is a pretty decent one.

There's a brewery here in Dallas that has made a Wit in honor of Pierre Celis. It's reminiscent of Celis White, from what I remember.

Completely agree. Am drinking this for the first time right now and enjoying it far more than I expected. Not a huge fan of the few wits I've tried but the tartness in this really sets it apart for me. Hopefully can pick up another couple of bottles before the stores in the city sell out.
