Since there's a bit of "momentum" on the board with the release of Solstice d'été, thought I'd create a thread to see what everyone's favourite Dieu du ciel! Momentum series beer is. I have yet to try them all, and while I enjoyed Solstice am still not "there" in terms of appreciating sours, so far the one that's really impressed me the most and one of my favourite beers is Herbe à Détourne. Curious to hear what others prefer

    Cheers!

Super fresh Isseki Nicho has a lot going for it, heaps of dark roast, still hoppy, with a little saison yeast? its an interesting combo. I also seem to buy more then my fair share of Herbe à Détourne when its around. That one tends to get me into trouble though with big ABV and drinkability combined, goes down a little too easy if you noam sane.

For me, it's both of the Solstice D'ete (Framboise and Cerises)

And Isseki Nicho doesn't get you in trouble it is a big ABV as well. For me it is really hard to pick but Grand Noirceur but be leading the pack but Rigor Mortis is a damn fine quad.

Never had any Solstice D'ete besides the Framboise hopefully this year when it comes out.

I tend to sip on Isseki Nicho, Herbe à Détourne gets in me far too fast:wink:

Yup, I much prefer Isseki to Solstice. Although I wish theyd put out some new Momentums from time to time.
