I'm not going to moan but here's my take on it.
When they get down to it and give a beer their full attention, such as Hops Kill ? they really can produce something special.
But recently with all the expansion and demand from their bars et all I really get the impression that they're struggling with producing enough consistently good beer. Recent bottles of Hardcore seem to be just a blunt booze bomb without the full on hop bitterness of old and their Scotch Ale which I've had on draft was just flaccid.

What I've found-and I've given it a fair try-is that their beers just don't fight their weight.RipTide is an example-there are beers from other breweries with much lower gravities which are far better , 77 lager would make a fine light mild but it's 4.9% .I reviewed a few and gave them reasonable marks but felt that local micros offer more.
