Next time I'm in Buffalo, Pivo (and hopefully by that time Schlenkerla Festbier) are at the top of my list.

I hope you are able to score it fresh when you do- get it under 2 months old and you'll forget about all other beers for a while.

Canadian customs loves to charge you for thwarting their control and bringing in beer, but a 24 of festbier is worth the 50% tax. Last year, according to the brewery it was brewed once and bottled in early January. It should be arriving anytime!

Ok, I voted Pivo Pils. Buuuuut, I have not had Tipo Pils (will try it next week in NYC, cuz Proletariat always has it on) and I had Czechvar in Berlin like 8 years ago.

Also, I loved this beer with a difficult name to pronounce (Koutska 12 Dvanactka)

Also, if Bosque would make Simcoe Pils year-round, it would easily be my favorite pils.

Locally, Marble pilsner and La Cumbre South Peak Pilsner (RIP) and BEER are great too (besides the aforementioned Simcoe Pils).

Really enjoy the local Three Taverns Prince of Pilsen. It's a beer I almost always have in the fridge. Nooner and Pilsner Urquell are also great.

@AugustusRex thanks for starting this thread. Sad how little love pils gets from so-called beer lovers.

Anyone know if Rothaus is easy to find in NYC? I clearly need to seek that one out as well thanks to this thread.

At this time last year Astoria Beer and Cheese was one of only a few places that had it. Now it seems to be much more plentiful. Check Beermenus next time you're around for the most convenient location.

SN Nooner, because it's fresh and cheap and actually available around here. I miss Glissade though!

Thank you, sir. I will definitely rely on Beermenus while out there. It's useless here in NM but always on point in NYC.

Nooner gets my vote out of the choices given. Other: Konig. There are so many good ones though. I am sure they will be mentioned.

Voted Pivo Pils because of its unapologetic limey hoppiness which blends beautifully with the pale pilsner maltiness.
I really like Victory Prima Pils and Troegs Sunshine Pils a lot too. SA Noble Pils I loved on tap but not a fan of the bottles. Stoudt's is another good call up earlier in the thread. Pilsner Urquel is packaging more carefully and great share a 12-pack to watch a game with a buddy.

I voted "other" because I love North Coast Scrimshaw and Golden Pheasant but FW Pivo Pils is awesome if I were to go with one of those listed.

I voted (other) for Goose Island's four star pilsner. I had it on draught one time and really loved it. AB InBev should replace bud light with it.

What other pilsner has cracked the top 30 best list on Beer Advocate?

    Name the other one?
