LOVE Prima Pils. Really good stuff. Absolutely hated Nooner from SN. But yeah. Prima is great.

Schell's Pilsner is quite good locally. I also enjoy Pilsner Urquell when I can get it fresh.

    Keesmann Herren Pils for me.

Of the ones on that list, I like Jever, Prima, and Pivo just fine.

I voted Pivo from Firestone but Prima Pils is a close second for me. I enjoy the dryness/crispness/ hoppiness of both offerings.

It was a toss up between Prima and Pivo. I love 'em both, but ultimately voted Prima in hopes that more hype/popularity will lead them to release it in cans.

My sentiments exactly! I like the can idea but this doesnt' sway me either way. I would drink either beer out of an old boot if that's how it was offered.

In addition to the freshness issue, another frustrating thing about Jever in the US is we do not get it in cans like Canada does, so green bottles prone to getting light-struck are the norm for the US.* Why cans of Jever make it across the Atlantic to Canada, but not a few miles further south to the US baffles me. Jever bottles are shipped in sealed cardboard cases protecting them from UV light, but because most craft/import beer in the US is purchased by the 6-pack, retailers usually rip open those protective cases. So, between freshness and light-struck issues many people in the US probably don't have the best experience with Jever. Pennsylvania, where I live, is an outlier where buying beer by the case is common, so getting a sealed case is not difficult, but finding it fresh is another battle.

    * - There is a significant percentage of US beer drinkers who hold an old and completely wrong-headed opinion that skunkiness is an expected and desirable "feature" of imported beer, particularly for euro lagers/pilsners. Even on this website of generally well-informed beer drinkers you'll find the occasional review of an imported beer that notes skunked off-flavors as being normal. Frustrating! I'm sure European brewers are aware of this skunking problem, but there's a an uphill battle with many consumers that most brewers decide isn't worth the effort. I think I even remember hearing that when Pilsner-Urquell switched to brown glass and cans they received some complaints from US customers about the beer being "bad" but it turns out they were just accustomed to skunked beer. (Right @jesskidden?) Thankfully, Urquell/SABMiller, didn't give into that opinion.

I love the new Goose Island Four Star Pils. Noble Pils is a close second, glad to see that it is back in SA mixed 12 packs.

Looks like I really enjoy the hell out of Pilsners of German heritage a bit more than Czech. Of Czech offerings though, Urquell wins out. My favorite according to review is no surprise, Weinhenstephaner.

I have a handful of Germans in the 4's, to include Hardywood, Pivo, the way underrated Euchre from Arbor and finally, after a recent trade, Captain Jack from Olde Mecklenburg.

In Ontario we actually get both; cans at the government run liquor stores (LCBO) and in green bottles at "The Beer Store," the near-monopoly beer stores in the province owned by AB-Inbev, MolsonCoors and Sapporo. Since the cans have been available (about a year or two now) I have avoided the bottles for the reasons you highlight.
