Has anybody sent any bottles of the Bruery's/ FFF's collaboration Floyd d' Rue and/or Rue d' Floyd across our wonderful country with good results (non-sour)? If so did you take any special measures? Thanks in advance for your insights/experiences.
Sent one of each in a box of 12 Bruery bottles. Double boxed. Sent from LA on a Monday and arrived in Georgia on Friday. The guy drank them a few days later and said they tasted great. No sign of infection.
I sent some to Baltimore and reports have all been positive. I kept them refrigerated until I packaged them and I did wrap the bottles in foil but I doubt that really did much. You should be fine just shipping them as you would any other bottles.
I shipped on a Monday with no special precaution other than putting in the box straight from the fridge and they seemed great.
I was shipped 2 bottles of RDF and 1 bottle of FDR to east Tennessee. All have been consumed with no sign of infections.
Got bottles of both sent to me last week in NYC and drank some of them this weekend, and no signs of infection at all. They came in normal styro shippers.
