Didn't see this up yet, so I thought I would post it. I will not be brewing this weekend. I will be adding dry hops to an APA that I brewed awhile back that has no hop presence. I used home grown Rakau hops and they were nothing like they should have been, even with 2 oz of Dry hops. I am going to toss 2oz of Chinook into the keg and keep it warm for a few days, then start drinking up. My IPAs from 2 weeks ago still need a little more time and then I will DH them in a few days.

I am going to a Brewfest tomorrow evening that had a homebrew comp attached to it which I entered 7 beers in as well as judging it last weekend. Looking forward to seeing how I did.

How about ya'll, what brew related stuffs do you have going on?

Bottling an ipa tomorrow that is similar to the APA IPA but used Falconers, Citra and Amarillo as the hops. Also adding dry hops to an imperial ipa (Apolo, Citra, Columbus and Galaxy).

Brewing up an extract saison to be racked onto cherries once fermentation is done. If I can rouse up a second primary might do a double batch with a wheat to tide me over while the saison finishes.

Trying to finish off my Brett IPA, getting my smoked oaked dark mild into the kegerator, kegging/dry hopping my DIPA, checking in on my milk stout. Anxiously awaiting news on whether I am able to enter any beers into the NHC this year. If I hear that I can, then its bottling time.

Lots going on by I likely wont brew again for another month or so.

I get all of my yeast from that LHBS. It's a lot better since they expanded and have all of the yeast and hops self serve. I saw the promotion last time I was there. I usually stop by Dog Fish before the LHBS so I will have to switch it up.

I had never been before this past September, so I don't know how it was. They had finally finished the self serve grain bins when I was there a month or so ago. They have a better selection of specialty malts than any other shop in driving distance, so that's why I go.

Having a beer & food meetup here with several homebrewers and a pro this afternoon. Dry hopping an IPA and doing a little cleaning tomorrow, but mostly restocking the basement with firewood from the shed.

well, I definitely wont be brewing today, (still waiting for some stuff to be delivered) but I will be building my new immersion wort chiller and cleaning my kegs and putting the finishing touches on the kegerator. If all my supplies arrive, definitely brewing something next weekend. If I knew how to post pics I would. ha

sick of not brewing or only working on ciders so threw together a quick patersbier this morning. Feel better already. Was a close call; may have dipped below 3 years worth of alcohol supply if I hadn't brewed.

Brewing my interpretation of a grodziskie. Only 60% oak smoked wheat versus 100%. It's all I had. Hops are C. Saaz mash hop and Pearle to get to around 30 ibu.
