Hornin' in on Brash's Abide plans, or has this been around for awhile?

It has been around awhile. But, I don't think any of the Pinthouse are for distribution - more of they have to have label approval to sell a beer made at their first brewpub at the second one and vice versa. So, I think they are just prepping the beers so when they open the second location, they can sell all of their beers.

That makes sense, was confused why they were getting approval but if they're opening a second location good for them! Always enjoy Pinthouse!

That too....it allows for them to be at festivals.

But, I doubt they would get every beer in their lineup approved for a couple of festivals.

Yah but only bottles. Not that I'm complaining but didn't TABC leave off the kegs, too, for Christmas Bomb?

I saw Christmas Bomb on tap at Central Market in Ftw. I think it was mid December sometime.

Brash and Pinthouse aren't the first to do Lebowski inspired beers. Pipeworks did "Careful man, there's a beverage here!" and Triple C did "The dude imbibes". I'm guessing others have done some as well, given that it's a popular movie

They took a couple weeks after to get the kegs approved. Apparently they submitted them at the same time and went back and forth with TABC on twitter trying to get it done.

I am guessing it will get better over time.

With that said, I also am guessing some people will automatically say it is not as good solely because it is made by someone else.

as if budweiser wasn't being annoying enough, i place all current and future blame for label approval delays on them.
