Looking for a little help. I just shipped a case of HT to a guy in Cali. I've never shipped a box that ended up damaged. There is no possible way it wasn't a mishandling by FedEx as I double boxed the beers in heavy duty interior boxes with packaging inside and outside the box. Additionally, it was only 1 can of HT that was cracked even though there were bottles and glassware in the box as well. Here's where I need help. FedEx says they're shipping a wet box back to me in MI from Cali. Is there anything I can do to get the box to my buddy without having it shipped back and reshipping it? Please help!!
Call FedEx and find out where your box is, if it is close enough to your trading partner you can actually have him/her pick it up as the distribution center. I've done it before and it is really easy. Give them a call and find out if your trading partner would be ok with picking it up. They will then hold it and allow him to pick it up. Just make sure to grovel and ask quite a bit haha. Good Luck!
