FEDEX Problems

I thought I'd chime in here,

I am the one who sent the box to youbrewidrink, the box was returned to me, all beers accounted for and undamaged. However, yesterday I got a call from a fedex employee asking me if I needed to add the ability to ship alcohol to my account if I ship alcohol regularly for "my business." I told him that I didn't and my shipment was a one time thing. I am hoping that my account/address didn't get "flagged" as this whole situation was really lame and would hate to have this repeated.

I have sent out 1 other box since the incident that arrived without issues, so I am assuming that I have not been "flagged" if such a thing really exists.

I always tip my mailman around Xmas tip. I even toss the 70 year old guy at the grocier store a dollar or two for bagging my groceries.

 

This is a great thread. Thanks for the tipping idea. I only started shipping/trading around Jan, so I appreciate all the opportunities to keep things "cool".

I just met one of my FedEx drivers at the park with our kids last Sat. He has lived in my same neighborhood as long as I have. Look forward to cracking some with him very soon!!

 

Yep. A box sent to my brother leaked along the way. Box was opened, repacked, and sent back to sender. Address was flagged and any box sent this way is now opened. So I have to get boxes sent to my friend's place.

 

How did you find out your address was/is flagged?

 

Sorta got the idea when 3 packages in a row sent to my house were stopped along the way for security checks, opened, and returned to sender.

 

You should have made a fourth shipment full of the snake that pop out of the can gags.

 

It would have to be shipped to me. I will gladly send you my address for this to happen
