Anybody here ever shipped a USPS flat rate box via FedEx? Weird question I know, but wondering if anyone has ever tried dropping off a USPS flat rate box for FedEx to ship.

    Thanks in advance

I remember someone awhile back saying FedEx put the box USPS box in a FedEx box before sending it out.
But why not just it priority mail?

2 weeks ago I shipped a USPS box through UPS. The guy asked me if I wanted them to " repackage the items in a sturdier box" hahaha. No thanks dude, don't open the box. Sorry not sure if this helps you out. I don't see why it would be an issue.

I would never use a USPS box & ship is FedEx or UPS.

I'm sure 98% of the time it wouldn't be an issue, but why give the shipper one more reason to stare at your box with curiosity, or to ask you more questions about it? My M.O. at FedEx is to get in & our as fast as possible & try to raise zero red flags. Using a competitor's box seems like an invitation to trouble!

You are absolutely right. I will adjust accordingly moving forward. Cheers!

I've received and shipped via FedEx using Flat Rate boxes that were turned inside out by tearing the glued edge and retapeing it.

I have used the larger, more sturdy USPS Priority Mail boxes on numerous occasions with FedEx Ground and Home Delivery. Have never had an issue.

Ive received USPS boxes someone shipped through FedEx. But everytime I try to send the same box back, my FedEx office won't ship it. They say that they used to but they are stopping. So it's really up to the office you go to.

Most of the flat rate boxes now have ink printed on the inside (red i think) that says USPS or something like that ... for that exact reason.

I've used a UPS box at Fed Ex, but even that was a last resort. Like someone mentioned earlier in this thread, my goal when dropping off at Fed Ex is to be as inconspicuous as possible and knock on wood, it's worked so far.

I only ship Fed Ex anymore, they deliver on Sat where UPS does not. USPS in government so I avoid that.

Pretty sure it is blue, but FedEx doesn't have anyway of knowing you aren't just reusing a box sent to you which is why I assume I haven't had any problems.
