Fedex shipment exception

    I use them all the time as well. However, I typically wrap my bottles (or cans) with newspaper, which makes for a tighter fit and tends to cut down on the squeaking. Probably not really necessary, but for some reason I feel less self conscious if the box isn't squeaking like hell when I drop it off at fedex.

    I’ve never used styrofoam, but incoming boxes I’ve received I thought were noisy. But I’m OCD too on noise, if it’s quiet it’ll never get stopped. If your shipping bottles they can be noisy more so than cans, depends on the amount of airspace, I’ve had noisy cans too. The big plus with styro other than flat out durability is that most ship straight up, that helps with noise. I’m sure styrofoam is better in cold weather too.
