Ok, Maybe I am an idiot but I can't figure this out. I always ship UPS but I have 3 trades going out today and one of my trading partners asked that I ship FedEx. I decided to just ship them all fedex instead of going to both places. I created 3 shipments and on all three selected to have the label emailed to me. Two of them got emailed to me, the third didn't. I received the email receipts for all 3. I know how to find the labels on the UPS site but can't find them on FedEx. Can some one point me in the right direction? Or am I stuck calling FedEx?
Hmmm, I never have them emailed to me. I just create the shipment, and then it just takes me to the page I can print out the shipping label right from the fed ex site. Is there a reason to have them emailed to you?
I don't have a printer on the computer I was using so I had them emailed to me so I could print them at work.
Make a PDF file instead and email or put it on a usb stick. Also if you signed in with an account you can look up your history and reprint your label from there. Print to PDF programs are free. There are many to choose from. I personally use DoPDF. Good luck!
I tried logging into my account and clicking reprint in the shipment history but it told me reprint is no longer available for this shipment. I can't even get back to the label to print to PDF. I assumed I was just missing something but It seems like this feature just doesn't exist. It is really obvious on UPS. I am planning to just create a new shipment and wait for them to cancel the old one.
Not sure what happened, but you should be able to reprint from history. If not, create a new label. FedEx doesn't charge you for unused labels. Yup, I print to PDF first, too, just in case I need to reprint. I use Doro PDF Writer.
You only have a day or so to reprint labels and once that passes you pretty much have to cancel that label and recreate a new one. I don't have a printer also so I usually prefer using their mobile labels. It's pretty simple, I get an email with a barcode and then have them scan it off my phone at my local fedex location.
