The guy came to my office and picked up two boxes. One appears to have been scanned. The other was not. The one is half way to its destination. The other is in limbo. Is it possible that the one was scanned but it was not updated yet? Did I just lose good beer?
Yup, it can happen. I recently sent a box to Las Vegas and another to California. The California box had all of the activity but the Las Vegas box was in "limbo". Once it arrived at it's destination location center it was scanned and put on the truck for delivery. No need to panic right now!
I've had a few boxes fall off the radar for a couple days, but all have arrived safely. No need to worry until the expected delivery date comes and goes.
No, no, go ahead and panic. As many boxes as I shipped out and have been shipped to me, it happened a few times and I believe all were coast-to-coast shipments. They ended up showing up a day after expected delivery date.
I sent a couple boxes recently..picked up.from my local fed ex office 12/1 and per the tracking arrived at my city's main facility 12/1..expected delivery 12/4. I kept tabs on.the but there was no update 12/2..12/3..same status (in fed ex possession "my city".. I was very worried. ."are they on to me?"..The boxes both had big beers. .One of my trade partners noticed this too..He asked if I got an update..I said no must be glitching or something and told him I'd continue to monitor...well I couldn't stand it..called customer service and they let me know all was good..despite tracking not being updated since 12/1 the boxes were en route and we're expected to be delivered a day after the original delivery date .. WHEW Lol
I've noticed that scans and updates are less frequent this time of year due to the volume with holiday shopping. I just sent a box to FL and it was "pickup up from location" until it was on the truck for delivery. I wouldn't worry until it is a day or two past the day it was supposed to be delivered.
