So here's the situation: Back in July I agreed (both accepted using the trade system) on a trade with a fellow BA'er. We had traded once before and he's relatively new to trading here (5 trades). When we originally started discussing the trade he said he didn't have the cans but had them saved at his local bottle shop and would pick them up later that evening. We didn't formalize the trade until a few days later. At that point I ASSumed he was able to pick up the cans as we discussed. A few days later he texts me and says he has bad news that the shop sold his cans to someone else. Ok. This sucks but I guess I didn't clarify he actually picked them up like he said he would. My initial thought was to just let the trade fall off since no beers were lost either way and to give him a bit of a break since he is new around here. Well for some reason he went and left positive feedback as if the trade was actually completed and now I show "delinquent feedback" since I haven't left any for him. What's the best course of action here? Do I leave neutral feedback explaining what happened? I don't want to have this one trade lingering out there for ever. Thanks in advance!
@Todd Will this get purged if the OP doesn't leave feedback. As it appears the trade never took place.
