Now, I've never completed a trade on here and forgive me if this is the wrong way to bring this up but I've been thinking: there seems to be an issue with people not wanting to give bad feedback in case of retaliatory feedback. Why not make feedback unavailable for viewing until both parties complete feedback? Not sure if this has been mentioned but I figured I might as well bring up something I thought was a good idea!
Very true. Though if you look at the bad traders forums people are still afraid of it. I still think it'd foster more honest feedback. But then again, people should probably just be more honest when they're not happy with a trade
You may have a point, and I don't really disagree. That folks are afraid of retaliatory feedback though is just getting the word out.
This would also be great for instances where the trade was completed successfully, you've left feedback and the other party hasn't. Why should they get the credit lol.
The only reason they were afraid was because they didn't realize that it's a bannable offense. This has been the case for every bad trader thread starter concerned with that unless their action too potentially warranted a negative feedback. It has been established ample times that if you delivered your end of the trade promptly and as promised/expected and your partner didn't do the same, refused to rectify, and left you a negative feedback just because you left them one, your neg feedback will be removed and the retaliatory trader will be banned.
