I saw that the 2015 batch of Fen Tao was bottled a few weeks back, but I haven't heard anything about the release yet. Does anyone have an idea of the weekend JK will release this? I would imagine it has to be coming soon.

Yeah I know they typically like to wait until the last second. I just wondered if you guys had an estimate on when it might happen. I wasn't sure how long they bottled conditioned the last batch. Surely it wouldn't be Aug 21-23, right? That seems early, right?

Lots of people are predicting it being released this weekend.

Oh man I am praying that doesn't happen. I will be in Chicago this weekend. Word is they made a ton, so maybe it will last two weekends?

Seems like 2500 bottles or more will generally last through the second Friday. I think this batch will be over 3k if the speculation is correct.

    Sup @Erikone !

They bottled July 8th, so that would be ~6.5 weeks of bottle conditioning if they were to put it out this weekend.

I know it depends, but it seems like they usually spend about 8 weeks in the bottle before release, which would put it over Labor day (excellent marketing and timing for a holiday weekend release)

I am hoping it is this weekend or next, as I will be in Portland, Maine over Labor day weekend.

4,500 bottles apparently, so I would expect it to last multiple weekends (baring a 3PP limit, of course.)

I would have said this weekend, given that NC and AR were released at 4 & 6 weeks (resp.) post-bottling, but there is also Culmination festival in Anchorage this weekend and I imagine most of the crew will be gone for it. Next weekend will be my bet, but we shall see. Either way, having this around for 2-3 weekends will be great.

I hope they hold off a week. I'm going out town Thursday for a few.

If they put the 1-bottle per person per visit limit on it, it can last. Bierre de Syrrah lasted at least two weekends ... not sure if it stretched into a third.

Easier for you, harder for locals. I wish they'd wait till Friday to announce all of their releases. There would be less of a crowd.

It will be more than 1pp first weekend at least, but bigger bottle count should still keep it around for a while

@HOPTOMIC_BOMB, I hope that is true, I was just at the brewery but they didn’t give up any details, other than the release will be soon.
