I wondered the same for Atrial...

They'll probably bump it back up once the bathrooms are finished. Good thinking.

I retract my statement on the merch tent. Employees were great, and line moved smoothly. It was just the groups in front and behind me bragging about trades the entire time, that were a beating.

People can trade fruited sours for second hand Heady if they want, and it's great technology has enabled trading to be easier than before!

Seemed to be more neckbeards than usual last night. Had a few good conversations with people in line, good times, nice weather (relatively speaking) for a Texas summer night. I even enjoyed the beer, afterall, that's why I was there, lol. I'm hoping to make it out again Sunday, damn obligations keeping me from beer.

I sure hope it's still limit 2 next weekend. Sounds like they're not getting hit too hard. Maybe school starting is keeping some of us out of towners away.

I am guessing it will be 1pp next weekend. They didn't get hit as hard, but I talked to a guy this afternoon and he said they sold a LOT yesterday and I am sure they sold a ton today as well. Even though they had 5000 bottles, I don't think they will have a ton left over after tomorrow. I am guessing they have about 1000-1500 after this weekend so they will go to 1pp next weekend. That's what the guy at the tent thought anyway.

Went and picked up bottles yesterday after free tail, not busy at all out there. This batch of fen tao is so much better than the first.

Anyone wish to report the remaining bottle count? I'm preferring going back out next Friday rather than today but if it's looking slim I'll take a quick ride.

Pretty chill this afternoon, but the Fen Tao keg kicked around 12:45. I like batch 2 better fresh than batch 1. More prominent peach flavor.

Also, the seasonal Figgy Pie at Stanley's was awesome.

Hoping Jeff will chime in or someone who works there. Even a guess based off the pallet left behind the tent.

I'll stop guessing on crowds, not very good at it. I convinced my wife and kid to come Saturday, great time as usual. No significant lines anywhere, great drinks and food.

We sold through about 2,000 bottles on Friday and Saturday. I don't know yet how much we've sold today. - Jeff

Well, yeah of course it's speculation. I said it was my guess. Isn't this entire thread speculation?

this is purely speculation , but I still think Sin Frontera will be my favorite beer from JK that comes out this year, followed by Coquetier and Boxer's in some order. Fen Tao was good, but I'll never get the hype about fruited sours above everything else.
As for what's available next weekend, I'd be more worried that the Komorebi is gone. That was good stuff. You know Fen Tao will still be around. 1 bottle, 2 bottles? It never ends.

Foudreweizen, especially if you aren't into the whole fruited sour beer. Foudreweizen was amazing!!

Any idea on the timing of that release? I have heard nothing but good things about this beer.

I like fruited sour beer a lot. I just don't see why it gets placed on a pedestal above everything else. Atrial could be (hypothetically, I've missed out on it) the best beer on the planet and it would still sell at least half on hype alone. People were all over their facebook bitching about 1pp bottle limit. Why? Do they not make other beer worth fawning over? I'll end here because this is not a new argument.

My wife loved Foudreweizen and I liked it quite a bit, but not to the level of the ones I mentioned. I haven't heard a bad word about it either though. They posted a picture of more wort from Live Oak not long ago. According to their blog, from wort to release was a little over 4 months last time.
