I've got a DIPA that is has been fermenting for 11 days -- Yeast is WLP001. I've got a conical w/ a temperature control system set @ 69*F. Just went to check on the temperature this evening and it's jumped to 76.4* since this AM... made a terrible error and forgot to change out the ice packs in the cooler this AM

Anything to worry about here or should I be okay? Also wondering if I should set the temp back to 69*F or keep it a bit warmer for the next few days.

If it's WLP001 and its already been fermenting for 11 days you should be fine. I bet it's been done for a few days. Take a couple gravity readings to confirm.

It would be better if the temp didn't jump up that much, but the beer shouldn't suffer too much from this. Especially since you had proper temperature control for the first 11 days.

Think of it as a diacetyl rest.

Had this happen recently on one of my brews, I just placed it back into cooler temps to finish out the fermentation and it turned out fine. I'm sure you are good to go.
