Fermentor

    Hey i just started fermenting a cream ale yesterday today when i walked by where i had it fermenting i saw that the airlock bleow form the foam. Is my beer now bad or will it still be good

    I don't grok your syntax. Are you saying there's foam in the airlock? If so, and if yeast/foam are still pushing up into the airlock, replace it with a blowoff tube. If stuff is not still pushing up into the airlock, just remove it, clean it, sanitize it, reinstall it, and fill it.

    If you are saying that the airlock got plugged with foam and blew off, you are likely still ok, as that huge layer of krausen was protecting your beer. Just get it cleaned up and follow VikeMan's advice.

    And cool your beer-it's fermenting too warm.

    And/or there was insufficient head space in the fermenter for the wort volume.
