    Busy Father's Day weekend...

Guild Hall Brewing Co. officially opens in Jenkintown tomorrow (they've been soft-opened since Wed). Head brewer was ex-General Lafayette Inn which many of the longtime area BAs are familiar with - http://guildhallbrewing.com/

Kennett Brewing Co. (Kennett Square) is having their Grand Opening on Father's Day (Sun 6/21). They are already listed on BA - http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/34595/

Also, apparently Crime and Punishment Brewing Co. (Brewerytown neighborhood of Philly) just got approval from the Zoning Board yesterday and are now saying "July" for their opening (per their FB page).

    Enjoy!

Also Tower Hill Brewing Co. is planning to open in Chalfont in July. Hoping to get to Kennett Square Sunday and Guild Hall sometime next week.

Chalfont? Wow. Same for Guild Hall, might wait even longer. Jenkintown is cramped up

Yeah it's going in where Crabby Larry's used to be. My wife and son are away next week so it's my best chance to get there; I'll shoot for an off time.

I got to Guild Hall last night. I'll give them the benefit of it being "early" but I was not digging the beers they were offering. I only had the Shakedown Ale and the Boneshaker IPA and there was nothing impressive about them. The Shakedown seemed like someone trying to make a clone of Boston Lager. Meanwhile the Boneshaker said it was a "West-Coast" IPA and the color was way too dark and looked/tasted more like an East-Coast IPA.
