Just received some Zombie Dust. In the past, there have been regular bottle dates. This one is different. Says 5160 71B0917. Can anyone decipher this for me? Thanks. Hoping its not 160th day of 2015.... as that would not be particularly fresh.

Bought a sixer on Tuesday. 5155 on mine. The Gumballhead had a very different sequence. Both were delivered just as I got to the store. Gotta be fresh - no one would be storing ZD. But curious on how to decipher these new codes.

As was mentioned in another thread, FFF has been working on migrating the date coder over to the new bottling line. I suspect they are still working out the kinks with the date coder. The bottling dates have all been gregorian (e.g., 05/11/15) on the old bottling line so I think it's safe to assume these are fresh bottles.

I picked some up 2 weeks ago, and there were no dates at all. As @Jaycase mentions they were working on the new date maching / stamper, and for as long as I can remember they used regular old dates (5/5/15 or whatever).

My guess is these bottles can't be more than 2 weeks old at max - they didn't have the new machine up and running back then.

Thanks all. Just made my day. 3 month old zd would have been depressing.

As of Wednesday 9/9, bottles are dated stamped again. For at least 3 weeks prior as they switched over to the new bottling line, no bottles had any dates or codes. I buy ZD every week and don't recall any 5155/5160 stamping...it is entirely possible the bottles for distro were marked in that fashion...I always get mine fresh from the source.

The markings were all the way at the bottom of the bottles. In black ink. Took me a while to find it.
