I've never had to worry about this before since I am not normally buying more than one case, but I feel like I remember hearing that there are case limits at FFF. Soooo.... if I go down there by myself, how many cases of ZD can I get? How bout the other regulars like Gumballhead? Can I get as many as I'd like? Looking to supply a bachelor party with some great beers so curious if I need to bring a buddy with me to get enough for the group or what. Last question... is ZD even available right now? I think a buddy told me last Tuesday they were out. Any idea when it will be back if it's not? Thanks for the info.
I would call for availability. They were totally out of Zombie Dust and Gumballhead as of Saturday, but I am sure they replenish frequently.
Earlier this year they had a 6 case limit on ZD, but I'm not sure if that's still in-place or about their other yearly offerings. As far as availability just check the brewpub website! p.s. as of yesterday they say ZD is available to go.
I believe two weekends ago when I was there they were enforcing a two case limit, but don't quote me on that.
I'm pretty sure Indiana state law limits sales to 6 cases total. Now I wouldn't be surprised if they would limit the cases of zd to less (when it's available).
Call and explain its for a bachelor party and what you are Looking to pick up. They may make an exception on the case limit whatever it may be, and maybe even set aside the case for you
Therw is an indiana state law that prohibits more than two cases being purchased by one person from a brewery on Sunday, every other day you can get up to six cases of any beer. Check www.3floyds.com for the tap list to see what they have available for take out. They update it daily spake sure you check before you leave, arriving when they are out of ZD is frustrating.
All great info guys. I think last time I was there was a Sunday which is when I might have heard about the case limits thing. Six is plenty on a random day. Thanks for the info.
I assure you, they enforce the limit. I had to take a dreadnaught off of my purchase in order to buy 6 cases. Lame, but it isn't their fault. There is no ZD limit stopping your purchase, just the law.
I was there yesterday and the most I saw anyone buying was 6 cases. They've got a plenty of zombie if you head there within the next day or two. I was told roughly 12 pallets with 60 cases on each were bottled on Monday. The guy said they'd probably be gone by Thursday.
