I just sent that link to my girlfriend to convince her to make the 3 hour trek down there. Looks amazing!

I dragged my girlfriend with me last year as a birthday treat to myself. She was expecting to get wings and burgers, and was pleasantly surprised by the menu.

It's pretty much gourmet food in a brewpub. They easily beat any other Chicago-area brewery for food selection, creativity, and taste.

    Also, the poutine is amazing.

From the article: "While the beers are a bit pricey, considering you are at the source, the food is very Munster-ly priced."

I would say the exact opposite of that statement. All the tap beers are $5 except for some of the higher ABV ones and limited specialty brews. If anything is overpriced its the food not the beer, and even then I don't think the food is that pricey. Now, if this guy is talking about the special bottle release beers then that's a whole other debate.

Was just there around noon. Had the porchetta (pork belly w/smoked mashed sweet potatoes and collared greens)and some back masking. Could not have been happier.

I've been going to the brew pub for years and I've never been impressed with the food as are all the people I bring with me. The food is overpriced, inconsistent and it seems like anytime there is something on the menu people do enjoy, they take it off… but the quality of the beer and the music makes up for that.

I think it is grossly overpriced. The burger isn't great. I like the music at times when they are playing good metal and not that monotonous sludge.

Funny. Everytime I go there I always get the burger. I might have to venture out next time.

I miss the tagliatelle dish that they had throughout 2010-11. Phenomenal stuff.

I don't go crazy for their food (I prefer Revolution's offerings), but their Short Rib Burger was damn good (currently not on the menu).
