on a Thursday? I'd like to imagine maybe a 100 people in the beer line and 100 people in the food line when they open and then another big push after five as people get off of work. I'm planning on a minimum hour wait at any give point during the day. My big question is did they make enough to last the day or will it sell out a some point on Thursday. That would be a total bummer.

I don't get why people are hyping up this beer so much. Good beer but definitely doesn't warrant people swarming the brew pub and going out of your way to track down a measly 6pack. Just my .02

I'd say the same applies to Zombie Dust, and yet the hype continues... I think it's just a 3 Floyds thing.

I agree that it's definitely a FFF thing. I love ZD a lot, however, it's gotten so bad at the pub when it's released that I really haven't gone out of my way to get it in a while. If I can get it without an issue and don't have to pay a rediculous markup, great. If not, no big deal, I'll drink something else

I am just glad they are not ramping up their production/distribution of Zombie Dust.

Awesome news! 3 Floyds just announced they will be replacing Pride & Joy (their mild session ale) with Yum Yum, their newer, previously brew-pub only session IPA (made with American Malts and Fruity German Hops). Yum Yum is my favorite easy-drinking beer by 3 Floyds (and one of the "juiciest" beers I've ever tasted), so I'm happy I won't have to make a trip to the brewpub just to get some. It will be added to their year-round lineup, so anyone who currently has access to Alpha King, Robert the Bruce, and Pride & Joy will soon have access to Yum Yum.

This is great news! Gone are the days of taking 6 packs of Pride and Joy out of the beer fridge at the store with the hopes that there is an Alpha King, Gumball Head or Zombie Dust behind it.

We'll see, it'll be far more popular than P&J.

Pride and joy on tap is great I never really enjoyed the bottles that much though. Sad to see it go as I won't be able to drink it as often but kegs do the beer more justice.

Yeah, I don't get it. Had Yum Yum at the pub recently and thought it was good but nothing noteworthy. A good, easy drinking beer that certainly has it's place, but not something I'd ever wait in a line for.

I love irony. My father in law was just telling me yesterday that he has really been enjoying Pride and Joy lately. Now, adios.

Will miss Pride and Joy, but looking forward to Yum Yum, hopefully we get a good amount of it.

Robert the Bruce, you're next. Backmasking in a 12oz bottle would be awesome.

Similar situation here, where my mom was near the brewery and picked me up a birthday sixer of pride and joy (which I rarely drink) that was only a couple days old and it was very floral and way more complex than I remembered. Glad to hear they aren't doing away with it completely.

At $12.99~$14.99 a six-pack here in Chicago, I can assure you I will never drink this beer.

I will miss Pride and Joy, which has been Three Floyds most underrated beer for years. Yum Yum is solid but just doesn't excite me.

I wish they'd replace Dreadnaught or APW with Permanent Funeral.
