So Im brewing this Heady Topper clone I kind of borrowed and modified, then sent to grainfather. https://community.grainfather.com/recipes/315194 Recipe puts it at 1.076 for OG, which it hit perfectly. I did my fermentation step-up from 68 to 70 over 6 days, but still heard it bubbling a lot, so I gave it two more. Went to transfer to secondary today and took a gravity reading with a hydrometer and its coming in at 1.000? Any thoughts on how that could happen? Should I try my backup hydrometer? thanks
Well, if it had read 1.000, I'd say diastaticus did it. File that away for your next beer with WY3711.
I just transferred to secondary and dry hopped with 4oz of simcoe. But yes it did taste great without dry hop! 10 days here, cold crash for two..
