FG problem

    I have a peanut butter cup/ choc beer, 1 week in the secondary the gravity will not come, I need 1.020...
    its at 1.034.
    should I add Yeast and hope for the best???

    Can you please provide more details? What was the OG of this batch. What was the grain bill/fermentables? If this was all grain, what temperature did you mash? Etc.?

    It is an all grain, 1.068 was OG.

    Yeah, you should expect something lower than 1.034 if you mashed at the lower end of the mash temperature range and if your grain bill was not 'heavy' in crystal malts.

    Two (and maybe more?) if's there.

    Are you using a refractometer?

    Use a refractometer calculator to correct the OG and especially the FG.
