Hi. My dry stout didn't dry as much as I had hoped. I did ferment a little cool, and meant to warm it as time went on but I got sick and was out of town for a bit.

As a result, my stout, which was brewed on 2/7, appears to be finished at 1.012 after 11 days (I've agitated the beer a little and am warming it, maybe the yeast will kick up again). My lager is about 1.016.

Are these FGs different enough for them to "layer"? Ok, I know they will, but are they too close to have them layer easily from a tap?

    Thanks.

I don't know if the difference in density is big enough. But pouring gently over the back of a spoon would help.

Perfect layering isn't the only thing required to make a good mixed beer. Pour carefully, but enjoy without limits.
