You guys might want to read that again:

    September 2, 2013

But I just checked my calendar on Outlook and in 2013, July 18th was NOT a Saturday.

It also says "First 2015 Can Release Saturday, July 18 at 11AM"

I'm guessing the September date was when that page was created or something.

It's a very dank, juicy beer. one of my absolute favorites. When they did the Second Fiddle distribution in MA this spring I asked Matt about the next MM batch and at that point he still wasn't positive when it was going to be. Glad they were able to get the hops and get a batch done.

Damnit, that beer was delicious. I'm heading away that weekend though. Been waiting for MM to come back out since I got one in a trade last fall.

Trying to round up a couple of road trip buddies right now. I got a good friend hooked on craft beer with Mastermind and he's been pining for it every since.

How do Fiddlehead releases usually go? I'll be heading home after a week in VT that Saturday, and it'd be nice to grab some cans on the way home, but I don't think i'll be up for waiting in line for hours on end.

Would i be crazy to think I could show up around 10:30/11 and get out with some cans in under 2 hours?

The Vermont Brewers Festival is that weekend, so the answer would be plan on lines everywhere.

I was there in November of 2014 and the line moved pretty quick if you were just buying cans.

Last time I was there for a cash and credit event the line was pretty slow. Maybe they will do a cash only line as well.

How big a canning run do they usually do? I think last time I was there it was a 2 case per person limit.

Long overdue. This beer BLOWS away Second Fiddle.

I used to think the same thing. Last summer when Second Fiddle blew up brewfest weekend I tried it and was like, "eh, its okay". Then Mastermind came later in the summer and blew me away. There was zero hype and buying it by the case was an in and out affair with no lines. It was only until they canned Second Fiddle again this past Dec/Jan that was I really impressed by it. Don't get me wrong I'm psyched for more MM, but I consider them more equals than anything. Two very different takes on a Juicy DIPA.

Exactly the kind of post that makes no sense to me, two totally different beers that are both great and clearly not competing with each other. Not everything is a competition folks...

Go easy man....just stating my love for Mastermind. Glad it's coming back.

Just my opinion. This is a beer forum right?

Ha, absolutely is a forum, which, I think, means you can state your opinion and I can state mine? Your posts are typically spot on, finally found one I didn't wholly agree with!

    Cheers!
