How long should I expect to wait if I show up early. Like 10ish? Hoping to get in and out so I can go and enjoy all the tap takeovers and whatnot in Burlington.

Favorite beer of all time. Might have to give up a bottle of Assassin or multiple King Sue for some.

I hope you don't have to empty your cellar for it, as delicious as it is. Last year it was incredibly easy to get as much as you wanted, as long as you were there during a canning weekend. But with the way the scene is these days, it will probably all sell out in an hour... ugh!

Based off Instagram, it looks like 4 packs of 12 oz cans.

Yes, we happen to be in VT on vacation last October for one of the releases. Initially got a couple 4 packs, went over for pizza and cracked a couple. Left my wife at the table and went over for a case after my first sip!

price increase is bc 25% goes to charity.

Seems like an odd reason to raise the price, right? Forced charitable contributions? Oxymoron?

Not if the price was increased because of the anticipated charitable contribution on Fiddlehead's end.

Just so we're clear, I'm not saying that's why the price was increased. It was just in response to post above me.

sure it's not just that. I just read the 25% thing on their instagram. popularity, demand, etc. it's not a national brand - so it's gonna happen sooner or later. they're still right in the range of market value. not gonna stay that low forever.

Okay, but you said that it was...not me.

I have no problems with the price. Especially if I can write 25% of it off.

judging by the number of people going and the size of the Fiddlehead parking lot, this should prove interesting

That parking lot barely has room for the human bodies lined up. Park in the lot up behind Fiddlehead. There's lots of space up there.

this is what they did for the second fiddle release on july 4th, so i'm assuming the same will happen this time

Oh yeah. Parkings not an issue. Just don't park across the street at the winery.

Decided not to go, had it at the beer fest and decided it wasn't worth waiting for in my opinion. Was good but not as good as I hoped for. The pieces of eight I had was spectacular so I decided to drive down to Foley instead.

Edit: Also mastermind cans are definitely 12oz, saw one at the second fiddle tap station.

I would not imagine that the wait is bad. I was at a Second Fiddle release in April. Got there 15 minutes before open and waited a total of 30 minutes. This will likely be a bit worse but nothing like Maine release shenanigans or anything.
