Fiddlehead Mastermind coming July 18th!

Sounds like it was more efficient this time around at least. Obviously less people up there than brew fest weekend I'm sure helped quite a bit as well haha

 

BTW, I went to the Shelburne Farmers Market down the street from the brewery yesterday and it was easily one of the best in the state. If you think Vermont IPA is addicting, try the hot maple beets from Vermont Pickle.

 

Cash only is the biggest difference....getting in and out of that little tasting room on the cash/credit days is a nightmare....

 

Yeah I imagine that is huge. I'll definitely try again for a future release knowing that they will have a more efficient process.

 

Is it safe to assume that they are sold out? I'm heading to VT quickly on Wednesday and would love to grab some.

ugh.. too bad. is there anywhere online that lists what they have for sale at their store or should I simply call them as their website suggests? (just don't want to call and annoy them if its listed somewhere)

I'm not sure if there is, I was there yesterday and for growlers they did have mastermind on for fills, not sure how much or how long it will be there but it was there yesterday, also had a fiddlehead ipa and 1 other I can't remember at the moment (wasn't anything spectacular)

 

got there about 9-9:15 on Saturday, so was parked out in front, was about 30th in line. Once they opened up, things went really smooth. Afterwards, stopped off at Otter Creek for lunch afterwards for some Joint Custody & Profanity, then stopped at Foley Bros. for some Pieces of Eight & Maple Brown...then onto our driver's house for a post-beer tour ceremonial popping of the beer. Mastermind was about as good as I remember it.

I'll be stopping at Fiddlehead on my way into Burlington on Monday evening. Safe to assume these cans will sell out Saturday and be long gone by then?

 

assumption is correct, they have been selling out every Saturday release this year. although the last release I went back on sunday didn't get more cans. but they did have mastermind on tap for growler fills. so that's worth a check Monday when you go. and per twitter they wont be canning mastermind again until October so it will be a while after satruday before we see this bad boy again
