Fiddlehead (whats on tap, can release dates)

Yesterday they only had IPA for growlers. Chalk board said next can release is 9/18, every other week I believe.
By yesterday the 9/5 cans were gone, at least they were gone by 1 when I was in.

 

HeavyDan are you sure the can release is on 9/18 and not Saturday 9/19?

Per a 8/3/15 Facebook post they are supposed to be releasing second fiddle on 9/5, 9/19, 9/26. So you have me concerned my trip is going to be jammed up as they are my favorite DIPA hands down.

 

Dang, I'm going to be there on October 5 and I really doubt there will be any cans left from a September 26 launch by then. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll put something out on October 4? Oh well, worst case scenario I should at least be able to get a growler or two filled.

 

Twitter says 9/26 for next SF can release. Their Session IPA can be bought at The Notch on 9/19

Ok, unfortunately you guys are correct. While their old Facebook post still lists 9/19 that is not correct. Their next can release AT THE BREWERY is 9/26. They are doing a special release on 9/18 but that is at Smugglers Notch. Now I have to switch up my trip reservations so I can make the 26th release.uggghhh it's been to long since my last 2nd fiddle. Another week is going to feel like forever.

 

Yeah is would be a Saturday from what I recall. I may have read it wrong.

 

Really pumped if there's a SF release 9/26 since I'm planning to be camping in VT that weekend.

I know it's hard to predict, but what's the line dynamic been like for the last few releases? If I want to be out of there by noon (assuming it's an 11am release), how early should I show up?

Second Fiddle will be out on Saturday..

 

I was at the last SF release. Was in line at 10:30, prob 50th or so in line. Was out of their by 11:15 with 2 cases. The line moves really fast, it is cash only. I heard that they still had cans left on Sunday, but did not see it myself.

 

I showed up around 130 and there were cases left. Can't say definitively how much but maybe a third of a pallet.

 

Yeah, this time of year is great. HT deliveries were lasting well past the line the last few weeks. Leaf peepers will be here soon though!

 

Pretty chill so far. Maybe 25 people in line.

 

Hoping to swing by Thursday, but it sounds like Second Fiddle will be all gone for cans? Still pumped to hit the tap room.

Would love to grab some or swap with someone...should have a few FL goodies with like Last Snow.
