Fiddlehead

That is so on point about that pizza place, one of the weirdest places I've ever been. Had no idea how anything worked and they tend not to tell you.

I've found that publicized releases sell out pretty quickly but other times when they don't say anything on social media and just do it quietly then they'll have stuff for days and days. Got Second Fiddle cans on a Tuesday from a previous week release before and my brother got Mastermind late on a Saturday afternoon noon before, no publicized release either time.

 

I picked up a case of the 8/5 Mastermind on Thursday the 11th when I was in Burlington. I also have to agree this is no way a malt forward beer. But still tastes damn good to me.

 

Still some of the 8/5 Mastermind available at brewery? Planning to drop by Fiddlehead Friday afternoon.

 

I'd call first to check unless your just dropping by.

 

Thanks, dropping by the brewery on Fri anyway, so hopefully there's still some left or maybe a new batch they haven't let anyone know about yet. Second Fiddle cans would be a nice find too.

 

Sixty cases were available at the start of the day on Saturday.

 

Anyone have any info if there could possibly be a Second Fiddle release soon? They keep things hush hush now, and their social media is usually of no help. Heading to VT this weekend, and would love to fall into some SF.

 

They're usually pretty forthcoming on the phone if you give them a call.

 

Too bad they never answer the phone...

 

My guess would be mastermind for the next few can runs then switching back to regular runs of 2nd fiddle in the fall

 

The answering machine was up to date when I called on Saturday morning.

 

I called yesterday, answering machine said they were out of cans, but no mention of a can release this weekend. There was no can release on 8/13 so debatable if any planned for 8/20. Going to visit on Friday anyway and see if any new updates.

 

Was at Fiddlehead yesterday. Probably won't have cans until Saturday, but they had a tasty new IPA, Stable, on draft for growlers.

 

Fiddlehead message today said Mastermind cans available on Saturday.

 

Does this bring out the lines? If so, is it an efficient line?

 

Shouldn't be that bad with Hop Jam going on. Cans lasted awhile off the last release as well, so I expect an easy in/out depending our your timing.

 

Cool! Taking a Burlington trip and we were gonna definitely go to the Shelburne Museum so we might as well see what Fiddlehead is like too.

 

Stopped in for visit and pizza earlier today. Got lucky, Mastermind cans were available to go.
