I have to say that the regular Fiddlehead is my go to at a number of places in the burbs these days. I may actually like it better than Second, though I've only had Second in cans.

I love Fiddlehead IPA. Hell last time I was up in VT I think I drank more of that than any other beer.

Love seeing it on Tap In the burbs.

Just don't pair it with the pizza. Those burps will seriously haunt you.

    Agreed on both counts.

It doesn’t have the hype of the other IPAs in this region, but damn if it isn’t one of the finest.

Anyone know if Mastermind is done for the year? Was hoping for some cans this weekend while in the area but it has been taken down from the menu.

Yes I believe it is done. In the past they have had a release around Halloween...

Just want to say I think Second Fiddle is my favorite beer of 2018. Easily have bought more of it than any other beer, which is saying something since I usually tend to take it easy with 8+% beers. It is just ridiculously good and super consistent.

Seems right now they're in the sweet spot production wise. One of package stores gets a shipment once a week basically. Not moving as fast as it was 3ish months ago but they seem to clear out of a given shipment in 2ish weeks.

Hopefully people aren't ignoring this beer because it's a "shelfie" here in MA now.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread rather than making a new one. Visited their relatively new tap room on Saturday, and .... hoo boy. 12 beers on draft. All for $4 a pour. All available for growler fill (Mastermind was $13 or $14). There were a number of beer-garden style benched tables and you can bring in pizza from next door. While I didn't love the chaotic bar set up (no separate lines for growler fills & pours.... no real lines at all).... was floored by the selection and value proposition.
