In my experience less than 20% of the people getting cans actually stay and hang out afterwards. I've always been able to find a seat and enjoy a draught pour.

Having a Bean Machine now, its holding up well and tasting delicious as always.

Berkeley wasn't too bad today at all, amusingly due to the threat of rain. Showed up a little before 10:30 and was like 10th in line. They opened about 15 minutes early too. All in all pretty painless to get the cans and two half pours (wanted to try that Mallow Gold) and I was able to walk out with a dozen Pulp (6 for me), four Destination, and two Losers by 11:10. Still a line out the door and down the side street right now as I'm leaving.

11AM in San Ramon, about 70-80 in line, moving thru in about 30 min. total, def will be cans past noon. Limits are 12 for Pulp & Dest. Unknown, 6 for Losers, and 4 for the PB&J.

Damn, Destination Unknown... This batch of Pulp is tasting creamy and delicious as always, but man, Destination Unknown is amazing right now.

Oh ya! Drinking these two now myself, wow, definitely makes me feel like I made the right decision braving the windy line with all the coughing children running around this morning.

Hit up Fieldwork today at around 2pm...no line whatsoever and they had plenty of cans available in the fridge. Had a small flight that was very impressive.

Left to right: Loser's Club Vol. V, Destination Unknown, Mallow Gold, and Pulp. Every single one was fantastic! The aromatics on Mallow Gold almost had me shed a tear of happiness...LOL! Walked out with a crowler of Mallow Gold and cans of Pulp. Nice!

That Mallow Gold was one of the more interesting beers I've had in a while. You are right that the aromatics were crazy, and it wasn't sweet in an off-putting way. I actually have it a solid 4.0.

I'm drinking the Loser's Club right now and it's really good as well. The Nelson notes are at the forefront for me and I love it.

Pulp in the house...I have to be careful with this one...so smooth and crushable...can't wait to try DDH Pulp...This as a DIPA would be unbelievable!

The "Doubled" version of Pulp is basically "King Citra" DIPA. All Citra hops like Pulp.

Thanks!!! King Citra (and Coconut Milk) have just been added to my wish list. I will be on the lookout!

Continuing on Fieldwork's recent run, this hazy DIPA Stickypedia is outstanding - juicy without a bunch of sweetness, terrific full feel, man I could drink this all day if passing out wasn't a thing. After DDH Pulp and all these recent releases, I think they've reached the top of the hazecraze ladder around here.

A friend said Stickypedia was his favorite beer of the year so far. I'll definitely have to get over to Berkeley before it kicks.

I was at the Berkeley location (after RRBC Windsor) this past Saturday. My first time at the Berkeley location. It was packed. But didn’t take long getting my flights. They ran out of Hazy Train . Favorite was Destination Unknown. Filled crowlers of DU and Clear Skies to bring home. Opened CS yesterday. Enjoyed. I like the Berkeley location better than Monterey. But that traffic afterwards going over the Bay Bridge? Crazy sh!te man. I liked the Fieldworks ipa’s more than Cellarmaker (night before) offerings.

Not surprised by your assessment. There are times when Fieldwork's hitting it out of the park then there are other times when their beers aren't too impressive. Same thing with Cellarmaker. It just so happened that your visit coincided with Fieldwork's list edging out CM's.

DU was a guava bomb. It was so guava forward that it almost tastes like they added some guava juice at some point in the process. Had my last can the other night unfortunately.

Well, also @dcgunman went to CM HoP, whereas OG CM has Mt Nelson and Orange Julian and a few other hoppy beers on tap, that HoP doesn't. I'm sure he'd have loved OJ.

I would of gone to OG Cellarmaker but had to check out HoP. Had a grand time at both Field and Cellar. I guess the beers where just not there on this trip. Like @grilledsquid said it's a hit or miss on both. I would say the same as Alvarado Street over in Monterey. I'm looking to fly in for a couple of hours this Saturday for lunch at Alvarado St.

Woohoo!! They're doing online pre-order for this weekend's can releases of Pulp, Galaxy Juice, and Orchard Street. Wow, the future.
