I got nothing off with The Stickiness, rather I quite liked it. It went down smooth - nothing that could be considered burn. It was a classic FW hazebro, with a creamy palate.

This is related to what you guys are talking about but... Cellarmaker released Permanent Daylight in cans last week, and I picked up a 4-pack.

Interestingly enough, my first 3 cans were divine... but the 4th that I had today felt and tasted much hazier - AND had hop burn, whereas the other 3 cans did not.

I'm no brewer and got chastised by a home-brewer in a different thread about this but couldn't it be possible that depending on where in the keg your cans were filled from, it could have more residual hop/yeast matter?

Being that I have some "free time" in lockdown I just looked up the reviews on untappd (I know, I know....) and some people are experiencing the same thing, however most of the reviews are good. I'm going to let the other 3 cans sit for a few and revisit. It definitely could've been a bad can (which I've also experienced before) like you were saying. I'll give it another chance for sure.

I'm thinking I opened the one bad can.... hopefully. Thank you for the post.

Has anyone had the Mason Aleworks/Fieldwork collab? I just bought a 4pk, never had anything from Mason that I've enjoyed so hopefully the FW aspect makes it good.

Definitely should've picked up more of the Mo Pulp, it's awesome. Everything I've had from FW has been great lately.

Wow, FW dropped off the 1st page! So I dropped by the Sacramento room last night - I haven't opened anything yet but my experience this time went a lot smoother than the previous time. Last time, I parked in the normal area a few blocks away (due to parking regs), walked up, and was told I had to place my order on my phone. I couldn't even write my order down and slide them my CC. This time, I place my order online before I left and rolled right up in front and they had it all ready for me when I called.

I missed out on the Sierra Nevada stout. One of their new beers, Boss of the Plains, I've had before and didn't care for so I skipped that. I did get 4 packs of Hot Chocolate and Video Armageddon, and crowlers of St. Thomas and Missile Park. I'll probably check back after the weekend with my impressions.

Curious how that Sierra stout is. I used to love that beer.

One of my last orders before my wife put restrictions on my beer intake was the Video Armageddon. Looking forward to trying that one during virtual poker night tonight

I'm having it right now. It's *really* good. Fresh nectarine on the nose, creamy palate with a nice aftertaste. This is one of the good FW hazebros.

What does this mean? Did they do a stout collaboration with Sierra?

Read it on their site - they replicated SN's original stout recipe using SN's 40 year old original equipment. Only 125 4 packs, I imagine it sold out very fast.

Placed a shipping order today DDH pulp and a few others. Says 3-5 days for shipping. Do they actually take that long?

No, usually ships the next day. I just placed an order last week and now I'm probably going to order more for DDH Pulp. :disappointed

EDIT: Second order placed because I want to try DDH Pulp. Also Sun Plaza has potential.

Me too and its my 1st shipping order with FW, it does say 3-5 business days. Never have had the good fortune to get the DDH version, great price and $15 shipping isn't bad at all.
I went looking for thew 2020 FW thread and couldn't find it, thanks for bumping this.

    Cheers,
