I'll be out of town when these cans drop, but even if I was, I'd just drop in later in the day to get pours/fills.

Fieldworks is also doing pre-filled Crowler orders that can be picked up on 12/24. That could make shit pretty crazy if that is the same day as the 3 can releases....

entirely drank a growler of King Citra while working at my winery today (hydrating barrels). I LOVE this beer - much better than Pulp IMO. It was just an awesome beer.

Got to try Hazy Train IPA again. Still solid. This batch maybe seemed more dry then the time I had it back in August?

Brought home a Growler of PULP. They really nailed this batch. It was excellent. Maybe my favorite right there with Orchard Street and GalxJ.

Can Release info for 12/24 Saturday:

All Fieldwork Taprooms will open on Xmas Eve at 10 am for the release of 16 oz cans of Galaxy Juice, Orchard Street and Broken Clouds.
We are more than doubling the canning run tomorrow, so more beer will be available in all three Taprooms. On Friday evening, we will publish the number of cases of each beer delivered to each Taproom.

We heard complaints of line cutting for last month's can release. So, numbered wristbands will be available at 8 am, and you must remain in line after getting a wristband. We will set per person limits on Saturday morning pending turnout. A wristband doesn't guarantee you an allotment of cans.

Huh, I didn't see the actual announcement go up on twitter, just the "coming soon." Oh well.
Also interested to hear how mobbed it was.

My GF went to the Berkeley location early afternoon to get fills for me and walked out with a 4-pack of each because there was no line. She said it looked like there were a lot available at the time she left.

One thing about fieldwork cans is they are pricey, $5 a can Before tax, also I saw multiple people accidentally tip %18 on their can purchase because their iPad screen defaults on 18% tip so you have to pick no tip on the left before you sign. It was like over $150 a case with tip for someone I knew.

The cans were pricey. Full allotment of 36 was like $200.

Did cans sell out in Berkeley and Sacramento?

Damn, I'll have to check with my gf to make sure she didn't just pull the trigger. I really wish they'd change the default to no tip for can sales.

So I went at 11:00am on MONDAY to the Sacramento FW Tap Room and was able to get cans of all 3. No line.

    This release went much better.

This batch of Galaxy Juice was GREAT.

Totally agree, have had galaxy juice before a couple of times, and this might be my favorite galaxy juice release

Broken Clouds Double IPA was also really good from this can run.

It might just have been palate fatigue after several IPAs last night, but Orchard Street from the can seemed less juicy and a bit different mouth feel then the last batch?? I will have to try another can later.
