Man, I kind of hate to agree too cause I love the Berkeley location so much. Family friendly, dog friendly, good food, good beers...

But they can't stop opening new locations and they've only been open a few years. Having all these tasting rooms open or opening up just means more and more beer needs to go on trucks all the time and I do think their consistency suffers a bit from that. I'm all for the variety and all the different styles they go for, just think they are seeing their ability to consistently make great beers dip because they are attempting to output so much.

But I also barely know how this stuff works and most of what I way could be wrong. I do love the Berkeley spot, sometimes I just wonder if I love the idea of Fieldwork more than Fieldwork itself.

They're not unique in that their product needs transport so I don't think the number of tasting rooms they have is a valid excuse for what I perceive as some QA/QC issues. Some batches are grand slams while others are singles/doubles. I honestly like some of their non-IPA/DIPA stuff better, but they have some delicious hoppy offerings too. Berkeley tasting room has WAY better vibe than Sac, and haven't been 2 Napa yet.

I love that Davis Beer Shoppe gets lots of their one-offs, so maybe I've been spoiled a bit...not gonna apologize for that though.

Yeah I've only been to the Sac location and I'm there to get my growlers filled and some cans if they have a release and I'll have one glass and I'm on a hot trot right outta there.
I was at Oxbow in Napa before they opened. I imagine I'll be in that area now and then on business. I would certainly imagine there's a better vibe there.
As for them opening more locations - that's business. This is a 14 page thread. They are doing something right.

Might be a line now at the Sunday 6/18 release. In addition to PULP cans...

They are releasing Father of the Wolf - Russian Imperial Stout - 12.7% in cans
    Aged in Scotch Barrels.

Haha...Not exactly the kind of beers I was looking but I guess I should be grateful they still do some weekday releases.

Looking for some feedback on the beers available at the Sac location. Gonna be passing through this afternoon and would like to grab a few crowlers but don't want to necessarily taste them all to decide. Thoughts from folks who have had some of these...

Ah . . . Pulp might be the best NEIPA I've had outside of actual "NE" IPAs. Seriously, I would just bring home multiple growlers of that.

    Pulp is my favorite.

Broken Clouds is a nice DIPA as well.

BUT.... considering it is going to be 108 degrees in Sacramento today, the Casa De Citra LAGER might be a good choice.

If Pulp is available, you'd be a fool not to get it.

In this heat, you may want to try Salted Cucumber and Island Time too. And I love Chocolate Milk but if Ron Burgundy were there he'd tell you "Milk was a bad choice"...especially considering how hot it is today.

Really digging Finer Things! Perfect summer beer for me. This batch of Hazy is really good too. Looks like another release yesterday (7/1/17): Painted Gold pale (awesome looking can!) and In Bloom double IPA!

Totally. Stopped by San Mateo yesterday and they happened to have galaxy juice cans. It's way better than I thought it was the times I've had it before. Also, new location was nice. Lots of room.
