I did. I don't recall all the nuances, but I remember it being fairly dry, moderately hopped with some grapefruit bitterness. After weeks of Galaxy Juice and Pulp, I was a bit let down, but that's not to say it was a bad beer because it wasn't. It just didn't leave enough of an impression on me.

Overripe was a very good beer, but as @grilledsquid stated we've been spoiled lately with some truly excellent brews. It had a dry white grape, grapefruity thing going on. Solid.

I just picked up a crowler of Overripe over the weekend in Sac that I'll be opening up during the Thursday night game. Decided to taste Fog Ripper too and man that was an awesome fruity surprise. Was able to get that in a crowler too even though I thought I read they were running low.

Hoping to get over to FW today to try this one, on tap at Berk, Sac and Napa. "Orchard Street NE IPA" Have they brewed this one before or is it brand new?

An all Pilsner malt and oat grist-bill paves a smooth road for the boatload of Amarillo hops we add in; giving it big notes of ruby red grapefruit, pink starburst, watermelon rind, and a tidal wave of freshly juiced peaches. The Vermont Ale Yeast it is fermented with stacks on even more fruity and juicy hop esters, provides a slightly chewy body, and aids in turning this hop bomb into an absolute juice bomb.

I am hoping to visit the Sacramento establishment this weekend. I looked at their beer list last night and there are some interesting offerings. The brett Marzen looks very interesting. Lots of IPA's I'll have to limit what I can try.

I'm excited to try this one! Bummed I missed out on Overripe. To my knowledge, this is a brand new beer. The only returning NE IPAs that they have done so far are Galaxy Juice, PULP and St. Thomas.

The GF and I had this (Oktoberfunk) Saturday in Berkley. I was not expecting to like it at all. I've yet to find a Brett IPA that I like for example.

It was actually quite nice. I didn't detect a ton of funk, it was nicely balanced, quite dry, and totally drinkable. A really nice surprise. I guess the added sweetness from the Marzen style lent itself well to the brett characteristics.

Life in the bay area is so rough with beers like Orchard Street from Fieldwork and Inner Thoughts from Cellarmaker.

Enjoying Orchard Street now, Pulp is still their best NEIPA to date for my palate. Softest mouthfeel for sure. OS is damn solid too, but Pulp gets my vote.

How would you compare Orchard Street to Overripe?

Well it was their most recent "northeast" style IPA before this one. I assumed you tried it already.

Nope, spent last two weekends in the mountains. If it was available before then, I never crossed it's path in Sac area.

Got a crowler of Orchard Street NE IPA last night to take home. I thought it was really solid. Right there with Pulp. Hell, maybe even slightly better...... I am a fan of Amarillo hops. I hope they keep making this one.

Also had the Salted Coconut STOUT at the taproom. Really solid as well. Thick and rich, good chocolate then the slight hint of coconut and salt.

Fieldwork is nailing it right now.

Get ready to add Monterey County to the Fieldwork list of Tap rooms soon. The guy in charge of opening up the new tap rooms for Fieldwork was at Sacramento TR last night chatting with a few people. Seemed very excited about the Monterey location. Maybe the best setup yet when it is done.

Definitely stopping by today to pick up a fill of Orchard Street. I also had a pour of salted coconut a couple of days ago and thought it was one of their best batches. Great velvety mouthfeel with a distinct but not overblown coconut component.

As a single hopped Amarillo IIPA, I really loved Saint Monroe. It was definitely my favorite of the Saint series and did a great job of showcasing the hop profile of Amarillo. Can't wait to try this one tonight.

Looks like PULP is on at Beer Rev, maybe a new batch out today?

Really hope they bring Saint Monroe back, Alex said it was a one off on twitter but Orchard is a smaller version of Monroe, so itll do for sure! It was really juicy and had a nice peach/apricot finish. The tart of gold and meloncotte were great saisons, Gold is a chardonnay ba and later, a watermelon apricot saison.

If you like dank beers, the sea stories is right up your alley. It tasted like smoking a joint and eating an edible in one. UBER DANK. The sour diesel saison is pretty dank as well. Its as if they used a couple ounces of weed in these two!
