Is Super Saint Thomas a NEIPA offering?

Gotta admit, the only Enigma FW beer I've really loved is One Star Review

I think I had a batch of Field Trial with Belma? If so, it had a clean fruitiness with some strawberry as well as the more familiar citrus notes

Sorry, didn't see this till now. My phone was at 2% so I stopped using it while I was in line.

As for the bottle share, when was this? Haha, I definitely haven't attended any bottle shares over the last two years since I've been back.

I got there at 11:10 and left around 12:20. Definitely the longest Fieldwork line I’ve waited in.

Yes very long line in Berkeley. I was there at exactly the same time as u. I swear you partook in a share at golden gate park but maybe it’s just that I see your name on the east bay store and Bottleshop thread and orhers.

I normally like to wait till the afternoon on release days but I didn't want to risk it today. Gonna sit on the hops for a few days as I overheard someone saying something about one of then being green. A buddy of mine got some tasters and said the two DIPAs were hella boozy so I'm a little worried.

I remember reading about the share a while back and thought it would be a good opportunity to meet some Bay Area folks but didn't end up going due to school commitments. I hope that changes a bit after I graduate.

Tres commas was pretty disappointing, lots of chocolate, with unintegrated bourbon heat.

As it warmed I started getting lots more dark fruit than cold. Certainly not what I expected, but maybe it'll be better out of the can or with some age.

I echo the comment that the DIPA's were "hella boozy". San Mateo's can release was definitely a bit of shit show, got in line 15 minutes before they opened and 1:40 later, was finally at the front of the line, where not only did they just have one POS system setup, but also just a single person taking orders & assembling them, just felt unnecessarily slow for how long the line was.

Sticky Bandit was the best of the beers I tasted after - but that was the one they forgot to order the labels from.

Overall just didn't think the beers represented the best of what Fieldwork has to offer to celebrate their 3rd anniversary, though I also haven't tried Tres Commas yet.

This Super St Thomas was quite different than last year's. This one is indeed very boozy, more malty and austere. I was really looking forward to this but it didn't quite live up. I had a friend pick me up cans of all the new releases but I only opened SST.

Agreed on San Mateo, they were clearly shorthanded as they couldn’t keep up in the taproom either. Hopefully they go back to opening at 11 to try and spread things out. My group arrived in stages and some of us had time to finish a flight by the time everyone had cans — not ideal.

Agreed that the DIPAs were both super boozy, but I have to admit I enjoyed both, as well as Tres Commas. Ego Shoutchamber I will have to come back to…but I think I’d rather have had Sticky Bandit cans if I’d had the choice!
