another high octane sour too, bummer

while i liked the last one the last half got increasingly more difficult to drink

that first sour savage jaw was super impressive and the abv was right on target

Stopped by Berkeley at 12:45 and Pulp was sold out already.

Damn. There goes my hope of getting Pulp tonight for my trip to Wyoming, which I assume, perhaps unfairly, is a beer black hole.

This is only going to get worse when San Ramon opens, isn't it?

You going to Jackson Hole? If so check out Snake River (in addition to obvious Melvin).

While its been nearly a decade since I was there, Wind River Brewing was solid too (though Pinedale, not JH).

I'll be in Laramie, but might be able to detour from Denver airport to a couple places on my way. Gonna ask the Colorado folks if there are some good hops on the way

I can’t say how Flower Rangers compares to last year (too long ago, sorry) but it’s definitely tasty. Wet Chinook is aromatic but not in the same way I recall the Mosiac from last time being.

Either way, it’s wet hop season and we should just enjoy it!

This thread's been quiet…but if you haven't tried Murtagh yet I recommend it highly. One of FW's most satisfying low-abv brews.

I'm a bit surprised how fast Fieldwork is expanding. I remember when I could walk into their Berkeley location and get whatever cans I wanted. Now they're distributing to their other locations and they sell out by 12PM.

Man, I haven't gotten fieldwork cans in forever. As @Juncture references, you can no longer just leasurely stop by Berkeley on a Saturday afternoon and grab cans at your convenience without waiting in line. I do think it's nice that people all over NorCal are able to experience their beers, so I'm not hating on their expansion, rather commenting on why I'll likely have less and less of their beers. And with Cellarmaker doing crowlers, if that's something I happen to be feeling inclined to at a given time, I can avoid the hit or miss Bay Bridge traffic, or the 45 minute drive down to San Mateo.

Now, if Fieldwork were to take over the old Osha Thai Union location that's been vacant for years, I'd probably be there every day lol

I recently moved out of my apartment that was one block away from the Berkeley location so it’s doubtful I’ll be getting cans as often as I did before. Even when I still lived there, it was increasingly getting harder to get cans, especially since they started doing more weekend releases. I’ll still be able to find their stuff on tap at Beer Rev though.

Pretty much. I think it's because they expanded so fast as as well.
