What were the bottle counts for the latest batches, price, and general availability? If you've recently traded for one what did it take to get it? What is your favorite treatment? I honestly don't know much about this one but they use barrels for some of my favorite bourbons in these releases so I'm looking to learn more about these intriguing beers.

im not sure about exact bottle counts but from the last release the grand cru and buffalo trace were the most limited (other than iced). all of the treatments had some distribution except for BT, there was a good amount in the philly area with bottles priced around 26-32 each. ive traded a few of them, usually for other limited release beers (ie - event horizon).

There are different bottle counts for each variant. Most of the Eclipse trades I've made were involving other limited releases like DL, Darkness, Ivan, vintage Utopias, etc.

I've bought several varieties off the shelf in the Philly area and traded a combo of KBS and BB Plead the 5th for another (to get up to $4$).

Each of the variants, besides the Buffalo Trace, you can trade for other limited release stuff. But as for the Buffalo Trace, it was very limited and saw no distribution. I would say you could probably trade a BT Eclipse for a Hunahpu or King Henry.

I wish I got a King Henry or Hunahpu for a BT Eclipse. I had zero responses for that beer unless it was in a larger trade. The 50/50 beers did not trade well for me this year, so I ended up drinking most of them.

Brandy and EC 18 were my favorite this year, and I had all of them except the Iced. Brandy had a nice dark fruit character which I really enjoy in a stout.

A large futures program and generous mules will do that to you. I think basically anybody that wanted BT Eclipse pre-ordered it.

I completely agree that BT Eclipse wouldn't land King Henry. Anyone seeking to prove me wrong, drop me a note.
