I not know why people kept posting. I thought the thread was done after this post?

I slightly object to that... I have been going out of my way to find beers in different styles, beer from different states, and beer from different countries to expand my horizons. I'm not doing it to brag about the number but rather to follow Michael Jackson's sage advice - "Try 'em all." But on a more serious note, I have been a serious craft brew drinker for years and only recently starting to review.

And I do not always think that is a bad thing - trying new things. If folks only ever tried what they already knew they loved...

I do it myself quite often. Unless it's a hard-to-get beer I know I like, I'll most always spring for something new, at least for the first round.

I think you just described me pretty accurately.

I think Shogo just ticked my personality. Ticking isnt bad per se. Its all relative. I think you can want to try them all, its more the level some tickers go that piss people off.

    Cheers!

I'll get a taste of a beer I'm unsure of. If it's a style I like, I'll go for it. I see no problem in trying as many beers as possible if your focus is to find a go to or safe beer. Sure, I want to be able to say I've had X number of beers, but in my possession at the moment, I only have beers I have had before and love.
