Coffee House Porter is so damn good! Great extra for trades at $5 for 22oz. I hear Czech Pils and Pale Ale are solid offering too.

A visit to their website reveals that Berkshire is changing the design of their labels and logo, though I haven't seen any of the new ones yet in person. Apparently the old Czech Pilsner, which became Czech-Style Pilsner, will now be known as Busker Czech-Style Pilsner. If it does indeed show up in cans this summer I'll be drinking lots of it. And if it doesn't, ditto.

yeah, underrated because they rarely do the styles that people clamor for. such well made beers though.

@bleakies yeah, a rep told me last year that czech pilsner in cans was the plan for summer 2015. plan on hitting that pretty hard myself.

my username is based off of the Coffee Porter by BBC…like others have said for the price you can't beat it! The Russian Imperial Stout is also pretty good!

All there beers are super solid. Hopefully they decide to can the czech pils at some point.

They continue to make great balanced beer, and very much at the right price point in this age of beer inflation.

This thread reminded me how much I like, and often overlook, Berkshire. As a result I picked up a Coffee House Porter. Cheers!

just a few years ago they were $2 & change, maybe $3, the good old days

also a great choice at the Big E, the rare experience in MA so civilized you can walk with a beer in public like an adult (ok I suppose it's private, but it's the State(s) Fair it feels public)

Yeah the days of 2 BBC bombers for $5 shall never come again. Now we find ourselves in a dystopian future with too many $8+ bombers.

Like the dark stuff, but I find the hoppy beers a bit unbalanced. Last year's Holidale was undrinkable.

This thread inspired me to try their Coffehouse Porter. Think the bomber was like 4.25. Great beer at a nice price! Thanks guys

Best price I've seen for BBC bombers is Ryan & Casey's in Greenfield, $3.75. Seasonals you will pay more but not that much. I paid $3.75 for Coffehouse Porter there in Sept. 2013.

Lost Sailor has been my go-to English style IPA for years, and the sixpack cans sometimes show up for as little as $6.50 here in BBC country. Two sixpacks in the beer fridge right now. I would swear the canned Lost Sailor tastes like the inside of a cedar chest. Nothing like it anywhere that I know of except maybe Cigar City's Humidor Series IPA.

I love Holidale, had it with my birthday dinner two years ago, then bought more. Put some time on it, it gets maltier, like Alesmith's Winter.

Golden Spike Kolsch-style is a great under-the-radar beer. Also, I'm always up for a Steel Rail draft.

I rather like all BBC beer except for the Holidale - just not my thing.

Coffee House Porter is getting another vote of confidence from me, as is the raspberry barley wine
