    Glad they set aside cases for Brooklyn while telling the people who waited on line 2+ hours tough shit.

    Everything sold out way faster than any previous year and the turnout wasn’t much different. And kegs kicked what like 5pm? definitely much much less available than previous years. Maybe they saved more than just a few cases for Brooklyn or just something went wrong and yield wasn’t as great as in the past.

    I don’t even remember them selling out of bottles day of previous years. Kegs would last days.

    Bizarre that they make people wait in long lines. Pissing people off is bad for business and even worse for business is having people spend hours in line instead of spending money on draft beers if there was a limited wait in line.

    Haha. This dial up modem POS is closer to the one they have though. Using a square or similar would be way too complicated. [​IMG]

    They live for the BQE line. Only once a year they get to stroke their ego. Posts like first 50 in line get to raffle for a magnum, get here early and vintage bottles available for first 20 in line (this was maybe the hawk and whale release when they advertised this) all clear signs what these guys jones for.

    I guess it's weird though because they seem like such a thoughtful, well intentioned operation in so many other regards. I thought it was nice when they were doing the ipa case preorder. They get a good amount of cans out and about in the city.

    .... and then there was "yoga on BQE day" a few years ago that was a huge mess. I'm surprised they don't just go to a ticketed system with a pickup window if they're unable to handle that much traffic.

    anyone heard anything else on brooklyn spot opening?? I was wondering if it would be a quiet soft opening like OH did with expansion
