Finback (2019)

Can anyone who had cans from the 4/27 Fat Mango release comment on the taste? I was greatly disappointed compared to previous batches. Very astringent with overpowering coconut. Not even close to the smooth, liquefied, mango coconut stick rice of previous batches.

I thought perhaps it was too green, but every week or so I pop another and it is the same story.

 

I really, really disliked the last batch. It was very astrigent and extremely rough on the throat. Still have 2 cans I’m waiting to push on someone this Memorial Day.

 

Anyone actually know when the Brooklyn location is opening? I hope it really expand their barrel program

 

Agreed, they have been hard to get through. Usually Finback is so consistent with their recurring beers, this was a bit of a shock. Glad I didn't pick up a second pack to share.

Any intel if this batch of Orange Crush compares favorably to the initial batch?

 

They have BA BQE 17 on tap, wow nice to have a non pastry stout these days.

 

Anyone know if Orange Crush is seeing distro? Really one of the best beers I had last year.

 

The Double Something sounds amazing, other two might be great as well but will probably try first if I go

 

Does anyone happen to know if they still have cans from last week's release? I know they say that beermenus is the best source to know what is available but they never updated it to include the cans from last Friday and although they just updated their list, it does not have the cans from today. I have to imagine they still have Lemon Lime Crush, although what I really want is Double Something Mosaic cans.

 

Heard from them via IG - still have cans of Mosaic
