Curious if you tried DS Mosaic? Did not get chance to get CAF but DS Mosaic has to be my favorite mosaic beer in a long time. Great ratings on Untappd for Finback - would be a 4.5 or higher if it had an OH label on it, IMHO

I had both at the source last weekend. Both great. For me it was a 4.3 vs a 4.4 with cats coming out ahead, but can’t go wrong with either or both!!!

Cats Are Forever was so great!

The Point Zero gose felt a lot worse than last year though. Thin and malty with much more muted coconut. Change of recipe?

Land Lines is an absolutely delectable pilsner. Not traditional in every aspect but clean, crisp, floral and fruity flavors and aroma rounded out by a nice lingering bitterness.

damn i love mezcal, any idea how that taste will alter the stout?

The Mezcal BQE variant was pretty tasty. The smoky/peaty characteristic were subtle though. I don't think their bottled stouts have hit NYC shops in a long time, but they occasionally get to Massachusetts...

Do people still line up for releases? Possibly thinking of swinging by saturday but I’d only have a short window to spare.

My wife and I stopped by yesterday before head to JFK and back home. Loved it. Permanently Night is amazing and is a must have in my book. Great feel and body with just the right barrel characteristics.

The mezcal beer was definitely well executed but I’m just not a huge fan of mezcal so I didn’t grab any bottles.

Grabbed some cans of Kinda BK and Overgrown last weekend and I’m very glad I did.

Does anyone know or remember from past years if they open any earlier the day before Thanksgiving? Not seeing anything listed so I’m assuming no but figured I’d give here a shot.

So essentially the “chocolate coffee” version is just reg BQE. That’s not a problem here.
