So Oscillation #4 will be out this week?

I know it's probably safe to assume case limits on the 004, but does anyone have an idea of what the limits on BQExC will be? I believe BA BQE was 4pp and AB BQE was 2pp

 

They might release OSC#4 on draft on Friday then

 

What will this release be like? Crazy lines? I will be leaving Sun afternoon to head back to MA and would love to drop by and pick up OSC #4.

 

Apple Brandy BQE wasnt awful, and if you got there within an hour of opening you were able to get your allotment. They were selling 003 from the previous weekend, so unless the hype train has really taken off - 004 should last the day?

 

This is also their anniversary party, which even without any releases still packed the house last year.

 

They also had some leftover BQE bottles too which was great. Per some article, I think they said they bottles 50 cases of BQExC, same as the apple brandy. Im wondering what the draft list will look like.

 

Anyone ever tried getting to Finback from Manhattan, using public transportation? Doesn't seem very pleasant.

 

Considering checking this Sunday's release out. What's the pricing on the cans and bottles directly from the brewery?

 

You just can't get to Finback without taking a bus, that's the 'unpleasant' part.

 

Both ABBQE and Oscillation 003 were $16/bottle and $16/4 pack, no official word on BQExC or 004

 

003 was pretty lit. Hoping 004 sees distribution like 003.

Considering it's their anniversary party and a double release, I'd say there will most certainly be a line.

 

There wont be much of a line if people dont fuel the fire and get there 3 hours before opening.

I got the AB BQE release 25 mins before opening and was 5th in line outside the door. People were lined up inside but not much.

 

Yeah, it's not great, but you can take the M to Metropolitan Ave and then walk about 25-30 minutes to the brewery, so depending on where you're coming from in Manhattan, it could be possibly faster to do it that way and tolerable if it's a nice day.

Obviously if you're going to a release and picking up cans/bottles that's not going to work well though.

 

I mean, it's not out of the realm to take like an Uber/Lyft there (with other people to save on costs) right? Or the M to Metropolitan then Uber/Cab

 

Yeah that seems a good option to save some money/time.

whatchu talkin about? I got there 40 minutes before opening and was maybe 30 people deep.

 

@cakehouse he said he was 5th in line outside, but the line was already inside. So based on the line inside, I would wager he was 50th. The line ain't bad at all, and it doesn't smell of trash there. If we are lucky that old man will sit out on his stoop again with his 1000 yr old blind dog. They were good entertainment.

 

Initial untappd reviews for Oscillation 004 are VERY good. Can't wait to try it.
