Finback Brewery (2018)

Visible Spectrum is really solid, it was on at M&H Chelsea tonight. So was the gose, but that didn't sound as appealing so I can't speak to that one.

 

We're the j Wakefield cans released to the public or was that just an industry only thing

 

Had the J. Wakefield collab on tap last week. It was really good for a coconut IPA. Very well executed.

 

whats the deal w/ those cans? their is far too much space in my frigde at the moment

 

Anyone expect these cans to last into Sunday? Can't make it til then.

Anybody there? Hows it looking? Not really feeling a drive to queens today to wait in line and get one beer in 45 mins but if its mellow I may just make the trip.

 

The Known Universe Gose is fantastic. Had it on tap a few weeks ago. Just enough spice from the chillies.

 

Did they sell out of stuff or what? Finback releases bring about the least amount of chatter.

 

Yea I'm wondering the same thing. Havent heard anything on Instagram or facebook from them.

 

i picked up a few 4 packs last night around 6. It didn't seem like they would sell out last night. tap room had people there but were mostly drinking from the tap and enjoying the weather.

 

I'm really enjoying Visible Spectrum, great out of the can and glass. I had Knoll when I was there. Awesome beer

 

In case anyone was still wondering, they had plenty left in the back when I was there around 3:30 today.

 

I had Knoll a few weeks ago. I thought it was an amazing beer and I really hope they can it. I'd actually consider waiting in line for that one.

 

Anybody make it out to Finback and try Southern Migration?

 

I went out today. Decided to skip Other Half and get gose cans and try Southern Migration. I would say SM is easily the best IPA can they've put out so far. All nuskool hop juice and mild guava. Cloudy as can be & clean tasting. Regret only getting 3x 4 packs.

 

Went to the brewery today. Seems like they had plenty of cans left. Picked up a couple 4 pks of the passion fruit sour gose. Really enjoyed the Points and Lines sour on tap. Wasn't a huge fan of Southern Migration, though it could have been how it was pouring.

Yes. And I agree that it is their best canned offering to date. I too stopped by yesterday and picked up four 4 packs. There was a lot of all 3 of their most recent releases left for anyone who was wondering.

 

Why does Finback have to be in the middle of nowhere???

How is parking in that area?
