It's quite good. One of my favorite Magnify and/or Finback beers. Dank weed up front with light tropical honey in the background.

I visited on Saturday. Just sampled a few things since I had been at Threes and OH earlier and everything was very good. I bought a 4 pack of MK Ultra and was surprised to find a 1/11/17 date on the bottom since i assumed the cans were just released. Do cans typically sit 3-4 weeks at the brewery like that?

Yes. I'd recommend checking their Instagram to see what and when cans are release. I've said it once and I will continue to post on these forums, it makes absolutely no sense to keep these cans at the brewery for weeks when they would sell out if distributed to local bottle shops.

Looking for info on those collabs, and found it on their Facebook. Pretty great lineup!

Wish they would open earlier. I really want to try these beers. I'm going to the opening bash that night at 530. If I get to the brewery and wait on line for an hour or so (happens every time I go to a finback release due to the one POS) and then drive home for an hour, I'll literally need to turn around and jump on the train.

i agree they should open an hour earlier. they used to but i think they may have had some issues with the neighbors.

Any "Between the Dead" bottles left?

Anybody think there'll be more than one POS this time? Lots of beer in this release, could really slow things down in an already sluggish line :slight_frown:

Maybe two... but I wouldn't bet on it.

Agreed, they really need more than one person taking payments. I love this brewery, and love the beer, but the lines are completely unnecessary. Does anyone think they do this to create more "hype" by elongating the lines?

Anyone think anything will make it to Sunday? I'll be on Long Island this weekend and would like to stop on my way back but never been for a release.

    Thanks

Their stuff usually lasts at the brewery for awhile. I can see the stouts and the collab with sand city selling out tomorrow, but the other cans will probably be there for days.

I realize most of the IPA's will probably last until the afternoon but I'm hoping to minimize time spent waiting in that line, you guys think 11AM arrival is good for getting out around 12:30 (assuming the POS doesn't have any glitches)? Been a while since I hit a release there.

I'd say no based on the last couple times I was there waiting on line. The line moves sooooooo slow. So unless you're at the front (which 11 am probably won't be the case), you'll be waiting about an hour at least probably.

Aiming to be there by 10am ... I really don't understand why they won't have more than one system taking payments....Also why they open the tap room while doing a release, those bodies on the bar could be helping with a smoother release (open tap room an hour or twoafter releasing cans).... Cans always last here though so no rush

I get what your saying but people also tend to want to taste before they buy. A beer also makes waiting on line inside not so bad.

Agreed. At the last release the lines essentially ended around 3pm and they moved all sales to the bar. I got there at 2pm, saw a line that snaked to the entrance and just got a beer to wait it out another half hour when the line essentially died down.
